How it began

Earthly Rebels was dreamt up in the sand dunes of Llangennith Beach, inspired by the beautiful seascapes and surf culture of Gower. It's about thinking of skincare not just as a product, but also an exciting and enriching journey with nature, from seed to skin.

More than skincare

My name is Jay. I've been making botanical skincare for over a decade, working with locally foraged seaweeds and coastal plants to highlight the wonderful benefits of our natural environment to heal and nourish.

Transforming plants into nourishing skincare is empowering and enriching, and I love promoting the craft of skincare formulation and its many health benefits. So I run maker workshops to help people develop the skills and confidence they need for a more creative and eco-balanced way to care for skin.

Engaging in outdoor activities like coastal foraging not only provides numerous health benefits, but also fosters a deeper bond with our natural surroundings.
