Learn how to forage seaweed in a sustainable and responsible way, and extract its botanical magic to make luxurious skincare at home. Each participant will get hands-on and formulate their own seaweed-infused bath crystals with a sumptuous variety of botanicals and essential oils.
During this fun, relaxed and sensory-focussed session, you will experience the magic of botanical alchemy and learn how to transform your skincare routine into a ritual of pure rejuvenation that will make your skin glow. You will also gain unique skills and knowledge for a more eco-balanced, creative and empowering approach to caring for your skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Magical alchemy! Learn how to transform this incredible sea plant into a nourishing skincare ingredient through extraction methods you can easily do at home. You will make and take home your own seaweed-infused bath crystals blended with a range of botanicals, clays and essential oils.
Combining theory and practice in a way that's easy to understand and follow, we will cover:

We will cover the basic principles and techniques of seaweed skincare in a relaxed and informal format which allows for discussions and questions throughout. Your beautifully presented creation will be ready to take home on the day. Our 100% vegan ingredients are suitable for all skin types, and are particularly effective for mature skin, and skin in need of extra hydration and care.

All materials, ingredients, equipment, step-by-step formulation, container and labelling, plus a follow-up recipe and ongoing support, whenever you need it.

Making your own natural skincare brings numerous benefits. When you consider that skin is our body's largest organ, it makes sense to know what's in our skincare, and why (many commercial skincare ingredients aren't there to benefit our skin). You gain complete control over what ingredients you use, and you can tailor them to meet your skin's specific needs, resulting in more targeted and effective results.
2. A cleaner, greener, more economic choice
By using all-natural, plant-based ingredients, you can avoid exposing yourself to potentially harmful synthetics commonly found in commercial skincare products. This can help to reduce the risk of skin irritation and allergic reactions. It can also be far more cost-effective to make your own lotions and potions, and a more sustainable choice as it reduces waste and environmental impact.

We prioritise quality over quantity, so we keep workshop numbers to a size that enables us deliver the highest quality experience, and provide participants with one-to-one support where needed. Demand for our classes are high and spaces are limited, so please do book early to secure your place.

Our workshops are intended for making products for personal use only, and not for commercial cosmetic production. There is no certification provided. Use of seaweed: while our workshops include the use of seaweed, it is important to be fully aware of the legalities and safety of harvesting seaweed for personal use. If pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have thyroid issues, please seek medical advice before using seaweed in your skincare routine. Our workshops are not intended as a substitute for medical interventions and/or treatments.
Cancellation Policy
Within 2 weeks: a full refund will be offered, or transfer to a later date, if preferred.
Between 2 weeks and 48 hours: a 50% refund will be given. If your space can be filled for the place you are cancelling, the remaining 50% will be paid. There is no guarantee that your place can be filled.
Within 48 hours: unfortunately, no refund can be given at this stage as it is unlikely that the place can be filled.
A minimum of 6 people are required for the workshop to run. If this number is not reached the workshop may be cancelled, and you will be offered a full refund.
