Safeguarding Policy Under 18s

Safeguarding for U18s: Earthly Rebels

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Safeguard participants from any form of harm, abuse, or neglect during our workshops.

  • Establish clear guidelines and procedures to prevent and respond to any safeguarding concerns.

  • Communicate our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone involved.

This policy applies to the tutor, participants, and parents/guardians involved in our workshops. It covers all activities associated with our workshops.

All staff members, if any, will undergo DBS checks to ensure suitability for working with teenagers and young people. Staff and volunteers will receive training and guidance on recognizing and responding to safeguarding concerns.

Earthly Rebels' tutor, Jay Doyle, is responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment, promoting positive behaviour, and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries with participants.
