Benefits of Make-Your-Own Cosmetics

🌟 Better Skin Health: Plant-based cosmetics are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Teen skin can benefit greatly from the natural healing properties of botanical extracts, which help promote a clear complexion and support overall skin wellness.

🌟 Social Connection: The sessions are an opportunity to pause the digital world and enter the natural one, as we explore the world of plants and their role in self-care. Crafting natural cosmetics alongside peers promotes personal connection, wellbeing, and a shared experience of creative expression.

🌟 Empowerment: Learning how to make and use natural cosmetics empowers teens to make informed choices about the products they use. It encourages a sense of self-care and a positive relationship with their skin, promoting confidence and self-esteem that extends far beyond the workshop walls.

🌟 Green & Clean: Plant-based ingredients can more often involve sustainable practices and ethical sourcing, making them a more eco-conscious choice with lower impact on our planet.

How to book
Select the workshop date from the drop-down menu, add the number of required spaces, and checkout as you would if purchasing a physical product. You will then receive an email from Jay, with essential information and an opportunity to discuss specific requirements.

Accompanying under-18s
Participants under the age of 18 must be signed up and accompanied to the workshop by an adult. The workshop will take place in a room adjacent to the main cafe area at The Hub. Accompanying adults are welcome to attend the workshop itself as a non-participant, but the workshop room is small and we can only offer standing room for non-participants. There is the option for accompanying adults to take part in the workshop, but they must purchase a participant place.

The adjacent cafe offers a more comfortable experience for accompanying adults, or you can of course drop-off participants and return at the end of the session. They will be in safe hands!
